We can optimise the bearing design making it suitable for high temperature applications. 

A number of different ring materials are available and can be heat treated to offer high temperature dimensional stability with improved hardness and fatigue performance. Hybrid bearings can also be supplied where the standard steel balls and rollers are replaced with silicon nitride rolling elements improving the bearings performance at high temperature. 

For any bearing to operate at high temperature it also needs a lubricant capable of performing at the same elevated temperature. SKF have a wide knowledge of lubricants and can supply or recommend special greases. If a seal is required to keep the lubricant within the bearing and prevent the entry of contamination then high temperature sealing materials are also available.
